Winston & Strawn and Hope for Cuba Foundation (Hope for Cuba) is proud to have hosted a delegation from The Cuban Embassy at Winston’s Washington, D.C. office on October 10, 2022. Cuban Independence Day is celebrated on October 10 of each year and commemorates Cuba’s end to slavery in 1868.
Hope for Cuba is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide humanitarian aid to the Cuban people through “projects relating to health and medical matters, promoting entrepreneurship and business opportunities, expanding civil and cultural exchanges, encouraging scientific research collaborations, and supporting a path to achieving full normalization of relations.”
