DANIEL A. ARGENAS
Director of Communications
Mr. Daniel "Dan" Argenas has been an executive marketing communications professional for over 40 years. His experience has been directed towards strategic marketing, public relations, communications, positioning, advertising, fund raising, and creative content development. He has worked in agency, corporate and consulting positions and most recently as a Marcom consultant for specific clients.
Dan is a University of Akron graduate with a dual degree in Education/English and began his career as a classroom educator. He is also a Franklin Management and Sandler Training President's Circle graduate and has received numerous awards for his writing and creative content.
His list of agency/communications clients include many corporate groups such as Universal Studios, Disney, Diebold Inc. & Republic Steel; marketing positions with WEVA International, Marimark Corp. and AE Global Media, and a broad list of consulting clients such as Chick fil-A, Boars' Head Provisions, Kent State University and Taylor Woodrow. He has also served as a communications and marketing consultant to a number of national & international Chambers, Foundations and NFP organizations.
Dan has also been privileged to have been a part of the launch of Juvenile Diabetes (JDF) and the Independence Fund for Veterans and other fund raising charities while serving on a number of Boards.
He is extremely excited about working with the HOPE FOR CUBA team and has been an admirer of Jorge's work for many years.
